Beautysession is a local and women owned salon in Portland, OR that has a strong passion for making clients feel best in their own skin; services are highly curated to their personal aesthetic and lifestyle. We are in search of a licensed esthetician to provide exceptional care to clients in a warm and friendly environment.

Part-time 24 hours, 3 days per week

Responsibilities

• Perform consecutive natural brow and lash services.
• Adhere to Oregon licensing/certification laws and regulations, and high standard of sanitation and cleanliness.
• Knowledge of all services and products with the ability to articulate the importance of self-care to clients.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Maintain a professional and clean work environment that is stocked and ready to provide a calm and inviting experience.
• Positive attitude that is open to growth and feedback.
• Adhere to Beautysession’s technique and approach.

Qualifications and Skills

• Oregon Licensed Esthetician or licensed within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience with brow shaping OR lash lifts and cosmetic/skincare sales.

Beauty school will not be considered as experience.

Less than 1 year experience will be accepted for candidates interested in an apprenticeship position.

• Capacity to learn and adhere to Beautysession’s technique and approach.
• Ability to independently problem solve in a quick and confident manner.
• High attention to detail.

DOE $15-$25 per hour

15% product sales commission

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks at all times, touchscreen-free environment, changing smocks between each client and all surfaces are cleaned with high level disinfectant and utilizing EPA registered UV sterilizer for all implements. Clients must wait in cars.
